The Apprentice School Pre-Apprenticeship Programs Virtual Open House - click on the flyer to learn more about their programs for high school students and how to plan for the future. They will have virtual open house dates each month January-June.  

Riverside College of Health Sciences - Spring 2026 Open House - Saturday, February 7, 11 AM-2PM, 316 Main Street, Newport News, VA 23601 - Participants will hear more about individual programs, tour the campus, view hands-on demonstrations, and speak with current faculty members and students. United States Military Academy West Point Admissions Event - February 14, 1 PM, Hampton Roads Academy, Newport News, VA - This is a unique opportunity to learn more about West Point, life as a Cadet, and the application process. Register to reserve your place for this great opportunity to learn more about the Academy.

The Governor's School for Science and Technology - attention sophomores - applications for The Governor's School for Science and Technology are now open - Student Applications are due by February 15, 2026

New Horizons Career and Technical Education Center - attention sophomores and juniors - applications for the New Horizons Career and Technical Education Center are now open - please apply by March 15, 2026 to be considered in the initial selection process 

Academy Day - Each year, Senator Warner invites high school and middle school students, their parents or guardians, and school counselors to Academy Day.  The event provides a comprehensive overview of the United States service academies and their admission processes. Staffers from the Virginia Congressional Delegation as well as representatives from other military-related options that exist at higher education institutions in Virginia are also on hand to share information. To ensure you receive the invitation and the registration link for the event, please email academy_noms@warner.senate.gov.
