School Improvement Plan

2024-25

Goal 1

During the 2024-2025 school year, Grafton High School will continue their growth in math by increasing Algebra 1 and Geometry scores by 5% while continuing to keep the pass rate for students with disabilities over 70%.  Algebra pass rates will increase to 88% and Geometry pass rates will increase to 86%.

Goal 2

During the 2024-2025 school year, Grafton High School will increase EOC Reading SOL scores for students with disabilities from 65% to 75%.  Students in the Lexia program will move out of the foundational level at an 80% rate across all 3 measures.   

Goal 3

During the 2024-2025 school year, Grafton High School will continue their growth in science by increasing Biology scores by 5%. Biology scores will increase to 87%. 

Goal 4

During the 2024/2025 school year, Grafton High school will provide support/mentoring for the 5 provisionally licensed teachers to ensure that all of them either receive or are working on receiving their certification. 

Goal 5

For the 2024-2025 school year, Professional Learning Communities at GHS will increase in 3 areas of the PLC self-evaluation rubric.   

Goal 6

For the 2024-2025 school year, Grafton High will decrease its Chronic Absentee rate from 14.76% to below 12%.
